So she came and went and so did all the milk, bread, and water off the store shelves. I've always wondered why people panic when they get word of snow storms, ice, and hurricanes. I mean you're from the northeast you should be used to this type of weather? But no, as soon as someone mentions some precipitation everyone drizzles in their pants... Well this is how she went down in the Greater Boston area:
Some rain and I will be honest pretty good wind gusts but all in all not as threatening as anticipated. Sure there are some damages and power outages but from what I've seen people have been dealing with it by partying out on their porches and the drink of choice cleverly has been Hurricanes. This is drink is very good and can be made in large quantities no wonder its the drink of choice for this occasion.
Personally I have just been sticking with my Gin and Tonic but I might change my mind for the next hurricane... who knows.
